For Italian companies that export
Sales copy in Chinese and Arabic
This page is for Italian companies selling in China, the Gulf and North Africa. Chinese and Arabic are delivered like every other language: the text and the laid-out page, ready to upload. One difference, stated at the outset: an expert reviewer always reads them before you do.
You can start small: the first reading of one page in Chinese or Arabic costs €59 and is deducted from the first job. The rest of the service for Italian exporters is on a page of its own.

Two languages
Chinese and Arabic, written from Italian
The text is built here, from Italian or from English, and an expert reviewer reads it before delivery. The review is included in the price and cannot be left out.
For companies selling in China
Product sheets and technical specifications for mainland China. Traditional Chinese if the market is Taiwan or Hong Kong: just say so when you order.
For the Gulf and North Africa
Modern Standard Arabic, the language of written commercial material across the Gulf and North Africa. Never a dialect. Pages are delivered right to left, with the layout mirrored.
Why it matters
The language counts after the fair, when the sheet is read again.
At a trade fair in the Gulf everyone speaks English: it is the language of appointments and of the first round of questions. What matters comes later.
The sheet left on the table is read again in an office, days later, by someone who was not at the fair. Often an engineer, who reads English more slowly than the person who collected it. At that moment two identical sheets are no longer identical: one is in the reader’s own language, the other is not.
It is true of the Gulf and it is true of China. And it is the opposite of what is usually assumed: the language is not there for the negotiation. It is there for the moment when nobody from your company is present to explain.
How the work is done
Three steps, stated in full
The review included, and what is never touched.
- 01
The text is built here
The structure, the argument, the order in which the information arrives, the figures a technical buyer looks for first. That is the part that carries the value, and it is the same work Vento a Favore does in every other language. From Italian or English into Simplified Chinese or Arabic.
- 02
An expert reviewer reads it
Before it reaches you, the text is read and corrected by an expert reviewer. The review is part of every job, paid for by the surcharge, and cannot be left out.
- 03
Figures are not translated
Product codes, tolerances, units, standards and certifications are carried across unchanged and checked digit by digit before delivery. Names and abbreviations are left as they are. A wrong figure is expensive, and it can be checked without knowing the language.
Figures are not translated: they are checked digit by digit.
What arrives
The two languages, in detail
The whole method, stated before the job and not after delivery.
- Chinese
- Simplified, for mainland China. Traditional if the market is Taiwan or Hong Kong: just say so when you order.
- Arabic
- Modern Standard Arabic, the language of written commercial material across the Gulf and North Africa. Never a dialect.
- Arabic pages
- Delivered right to left, with the layout mirrored: not a European page with Arabic words poured into it.
- Format
- The text, and the HTML page laid out in your own style, ready to upload.
- Source
- From Italian or from English, whichever you prefer: the work starts from the text you already have.
- Lead time
- Five working days more than the European languages: that is the time the review takes.
Price list
Clear prices, set out in advance
These are the lines of the standard price list, plus fifty per cent and five days. The surcharge is not profit: it pays for the expert review, which is always included. One round of corrections is included within thirty days. Days are working days, counted from the moment the material arrives, not from the order.
For lines not shown here, such as the trade fair package, the same rule applies: the list price plus fifty per cent, and five extra days. Payment on delivery, by bank transfer, with a regular receipt for every job.
The documents
The same documents, in the buyer’s language
The examples below are in English and show the format. The same documents are written in Simplified Chinese and Arabic, with the expert review before delivery. The companies are invented and the figures plausible but made up.

Product sheet
Balsamic vinegar of Modena PGI. Half story, half data. In Chinese or Arabic it costs €210.
Open the PDF
Technical data sheet
A hydraulic power unit. Flow curve, specifications, configurations and delivery times: the figures stay identical in every language.
Open the PDF
First reading
Ten observations on pages already published. On a page in Chinese or Arabic it costs €59.

Two things Vento a Favore does not do, stated in advance
No regulated documents, in any language
Instruction manuals, food labels, declarations of conformity, safety data sheets. The wording is set by regulation and the responsibility remains the manufacturer’s. In Chinese and Arabic the rule applies twice over.
No hosting of a site inside China
A site hosted outside China opens slowly there, and hosting it inside the country requires registration with the Chinese authorities, which Vento a Favore does not hold. The files are delivered finished; the hosting is best chosen by someone who knows that market.
Does Vento a Favore really write in Chinese and Arabic?
Yes, with a stated method. The text is built here: the structure, the argument, the figures a technical buyer looks for. Then, before delivery, an expert reviewer reads and corrects it.
That review is included in the price, and it is the reason Chinese and Arabic cost 50% more and take five days longer.
Simplified or Traditional Chinese?
Simplified, for mainland China. Traditional if the market is Taiwan or Hong Kong: just say so when you order.
Can the work start from an English text?
Yes. It starts from Italian or from English, whichever you prefer: the work begins with the text you already have.
Why five days more?
That is the time the expert review takes. Days are working days, counted from the moment the material arrives, not from the order.
