Prices and payment

What does it cost?

Prices are fixed and published on this site: first reading of your Italian pages €39, product sheet or technical data sheet €140, five product sheets €550, company profile €180, e-commerce descriptions for up to fifteen products €380, trade fair package €540, the same sheet in a second language €84.

For the website: one page rewritten in Italian €79, three pages €225, the pages of an existing site, up to five, €349, a one-page site €290, a site built from scratch €590.

You know the price before you get in touch. For anything the list does not cover, just ask for a quote. The full price list.

How is payment made, and what do you receive?

On delivery, by bank transfer. A regular receipt is issued for every job; the tax details are in the note at the foot of this page.

Before work starts, what is included and the delivery date are agreed in writing.

How the work is done

How does it start?

With an email. If you already have Italian pages online, the natural first step is the first reading: ten observations on what is already published, within 48 hours, for €39. The €39 is deducted in full from the first job commissioned within sixty days: not a discount: it is credited in full.

If you already know what you need, you can order the sheet, the e-commerce descriptions or the company profile directly.

What does Vento a Favore need from you?

What you already have: the text in your language, technical sheets, product data, certifications, photographs. It does not need to be tidy.

If something is missing (a measurement, a lead time, a standard), Vento a Favore asks once, in a single list, instead of coming back every day with one more question.

How long does it take?

First reading 48 hours. Product sheet and company profile five days. E-commerce descriptions and trade fair package ten days. Website pages five to ten days, a one-page site ten days, a site from scratch three weeks.

Days are working days and are counted from the moment the material arrives, not from the order: it is the only way to name a date and keep it.

What if you are not happy with the text?

One round of corrections is included in every job, within thirty days of delivery. It is there to change what does not work, not to start again from scratch.

If after the corrections the work is still not what you needed, you will be told so plainly, with no pressure: better to lose a job than to deliver a page nobody will use.

The method

Is this translation?

No, and that is the difference that matters. A translation carries the same sentences into another language; here the text is rewritten for the reader in Italy, with the order of the information and the weight of the data changed to suit.

An Italian buyer can tell within a line that a page was not written for them. A literal version can be correct and useless at the same time.

Sales copy is always rewritten. For a text that only needs translating, there is the revised translation, at €0.07 per word: see the price list.

Who actually does the writing?

Vento a Favore, from start to finish. Every text is read through in full before delivery, and you deal with one contact only.

Do your documents stay confidential?

Yes. Price lists, drawings, technical sheets and figures sent to Vento a Favore are used for the writing and go nowhere else.

No work done for a client is published as an example without written consent: the example documents on this site are built on invented companies, on purpose.

Limits and other services

What does Vento a Favore not write?

Machine instruction manuals, food labels, declarations of conformity, safety data sheets. That is regulated material: the wording is set by regulation and the responsibility remains the manufacturer’s.

You are told this before the job is accepted, not after.

Does Vento a Favore work for agencies and translation companies?

Yes. Vento a Favore writes, the work goes out under the agency’s name, and only the agency deals with the end client.

The price list stays the same, so the agency can quote without having to ask anyone.

Does Vento a Favore build websites too?

Yes: the pages of an existing site, rewritten in Italian and delivered ready to upload, or an Italian site built from scratch for a company that has none.

No online shops, no booking systems, no admin panels and no monthly maintenance: if you need one of those, you are told straight away, with a pointer to someone who does. The website page.

Languages and Italian exporters

Only in Italian?

Italian first, starting from the texts you already have, whatever their language. If you also need them in English, German, French or Spanish, the same sheet in a second language costs €84 when ordered with the first, and each further language on a website costs €320. Chinese and Arabic are possible too, at 50% more, with an expert review included.

Is there a service for Italian companies selling abroad?

Yes, at the same prices. For Italian companies Vento a Favore writes sales copy in English, German, French, Spanish, Simplified Chinese and Arabic. For Chinese and Arabic, an expert reviewer reads the text before delivery; the review is included in the 50% surcharge.

See the page for Italian exporters and the Chinese and Arabic page.

In brief

You know the price first; the days start from the material

Fixed list prices, and a dedicated quote for other work. Working days counted from the moment the material arrives. One round of corrections included. Payment on delivery, with a regular receipt.

How it works

Four steps, and the clock starts at the third

The first two steps cost nothing and start no clock.

  1. First

    First contact

A link to the page is enough, or a photo of the label. No form to fill in.

  2. Within a day

    Three lines as a sample

A passage of your current text is rewritten free of charge, so you can judge by your own material rather than an example.

  3. Then

    The material

The source text and the product data. The count starts here, not from the order.

  4. On delivery

    The finished work

Within the stated days, as a typeset PDF and as editable text, with one round of corrections included. The receipt follows.
